Don’t worry, Pecafil’s got your back!
A new marine based multi-sports facility - the Hyundai Marine Sports Centre is currently being built by Fletcher Construction to replace Royal Akarana Yacht Club at Okahu Bay. The new centre will be an asset for the community to better enjoy the water.
The construction commenced in May 2017. Using the Pecafil stay in place formwork by Fletcher Reinforcing for the pile caps & ground beams, Fletcher Construction has taken full advantages of the productivity gains that this system has to offer by having the steel reinforcing delivered to site with the formwork fixed to the reinforcing.
"It's a lot cleaner, so it saves us a lot of time in setting up and getting everything clean and ready before we actually start working. The fact that it's there, you don't have to cut it at all, it's just ready to go. It's a great help," site manager Randy Tandy says. He told us that he will definitely use Pecafil again in the future when he can.
